ALTA

Alta is a live-fire restaurant inspired by the Navarra region of Northern Spain. It is relaxed with a deep-rooted respect for heritage. The menu showcases the very best of seasonal British produce, married with the essence of Spanish cooking. Small plates and larger dishes are served to the table and designed to be shared, with highlights like Cornish mussels & grilled bread; Homemade Txistorra – a Basque-style sauasage – and onion cider jus; and Chocolate mousse with smoked olive oil meringue.

Drinks centre around low intervention and biodynamic wines, a range of which are available on tap, as well as small scale, artisan produced spirits forming a curated cocktail list.

Spread across two floors, the restaurant design gives nods to the mountainous regions, coastlines and terrain of Northern Spain, with a focus on organic materials and textures. The ground floor dining room features an open kitchen with seating that spills onto the outdoor terrace, whilst the upstairs space looks out across Carnaby Street and Kingly Court.
